Renovator's Supply, a Massachusetts company, reports that orders for child sized toilets and sinks have more than quadrupled during the months of June and July. The line was first launched a year ago and has since then been steadily gaining popularity among both parents and childcare providers.

These fixtures are handcrafted of vitreous china, and come in bone and white gloss finishes. Glass sinks feature easy-to-clean tempered safety glass. The toilets have narrow seats, and the bowls are an easy to reach eleven inches off the ground.

All of these products are designed to take standard faucets and drains, and meet North American Standards Institute specifications. This ensures that when it is time to replace them with adult fixtures, no additional plumbing is necessary.
