Tel Aviv, Israel (PRWEB) August 3, 2005 -- Israels leading Venture Capital funds and global investment banks will participate at the Ernst & Young (E&Y) 9th Annual Journey 2005 Conference (www.journey2005.com). On September 15, 2005, E&Y (www.ey.com) will host this annual Israeli conference for venture capital funds and entrepreneurs of emerging growth companies, at David Intercontinental Hotel, Tel-Aviv, Israel.

A record number of participants are expected to attend this Journey 2005 conference, as a result of the continuous improvement in the business environment of the global and Israeli high tech industries. Capital raised by Israeli high tech companies soars 15 percent to $737 million in the first half of 2005, from first half of 2004 levels. According to survey conducted by the IVC Research Center. in the second quarter of 2005, 98 Israeli high-tech companies raised $387 million from venture investors, both local and foreign.
