Jewelry Designer Uyen-Uyen Tong was selected during New Yorks fiercely competitive Henri Bendel Open See" event for emerging newcomers in the fashion industry. The Open See event has launched some major talent this way, like Todd Oldham and Anna Sui.

Los Angeles, CA August 4, 2005 -- Los Angeles-based designer, Uyen-Uyen Tong selected at the Open See event introduces her collection to Henri Bendel at a New York trunk show on August 18th, 19th and 20th. The handcrafted collection has crochet chains and braided tassel designs in 14karat gold and silver, as well as body jewelry pieces with colored diamonds and precious gemstones.

This year, Uyen-Uyens signature tassel-tie necklaces adorned with pink tourmalines, sapphires and emeralds can be worn as necklaces wrapped once, twice or three times and they effortlessly transform into a jeweled lasso belt. I wanted my jewelry to be versatile where a single design can be worn multiple ways and can go from day to evening.
