Activate 3.0 addresses three major shortcomings with existing Active RFID and Real-Time Location System (RTLS) software solutions:


Currently, most location-based software solutions are provided only with a single hardware technology vendor. Customers are left with the option to either accept the software that comes packaged with their chosen tracking technology, or to launch into an expensive and time-consuming development project to create their own custom solution.

Activate 3.0 provides clients with the freedom to choose the active RFID or RTLS hardware platform that makes the most sense for their application, while leveraging the best possible software to utilize this raw information. Value Added Resellers (VARs) also benefit from this flexibility through their ability to leverage a single software solution that can plug into different hardware vendors.
