(PRWEB) August 5, 2005 -- Alternativehealth.co.uk an online directory allowing users to search for practitioners and information on Alternative Health and Complementary Medicine is now live. The aim of the site is to allow visitors to search for local practitioners by entering their postcode, as well as research information on popular Alternative Health subjects. A forum is also planned for later in the year. Alternativehealth.co.uk is also allowing practitioners to list the business free.
Alternative health care or alternative therapies refer to that branch of healing methodologies that have not been given the status of recognized medical treatments. While alternative therapies are not included in the mainstream health care system, they have been around far longer than any medical science technique and are increasing in popularity. With this is mind we created a site that is easy to use and full of information on all leading alternative health subjects.
