Christina Milian and Eric West CO-host "The Reign" Fundraiser, an Event to Raise Funds to Fight HIV/AIDS Around the World

A group of young talented singers, dancers and musicians take part in "The Reign," an event that benefits the Fresh Air Fund and raises awareness of the Elton John AIDS Foundation while recognizing artists who contribute to humanitarian work. The huge production features live music, intricate dance and amazing vocalists displaying the power that music has on the youth. Special guest host include Grammy nominated singer/actress Christina Milian, singer/actor Eric West, members of VH1's Save The Music and independent directors for HBO films all together for a grand cause.

Grammy nominated pop singer/actress Christina Milian and international model turned singer/actor Eric West will Co-host "The Reign" fundraising gala on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at the Gerald W. Lynch Theatre in New York City.

The event was designed by a group of inner-city children in 2003 to raise funding and awareness for HIV/AIDS prevention education for men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS, as well as working with the Fresh Air Fund to continue to help other inner-city children and family's. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Fresh Air Fund.

The Reign will recognize the achievements and focus attention on distinguished individuals who demonstrate the highest standards of excellence. In 2005 The Reign will honor two outstanding individuals with Outstanding Achievement Awards for their humanitarian efforts, as well through song and dance with a full production show featuring by 13 extraordinary young singers, a live band and intricate dance to some of today's top artist including Mariah Carey.

"I'm honored that I was asked to be apart of this event," says entertainer Eric West at press time. Christina Milian and Eric West add to a list that includes Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Charlize Theron, and Mira Sorvino, all who have used their time to help the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The Reign promises to continue increasing funding for projects which target the prevention of HIV infection, the prevention of the progression of HIV to AIDS and inner-city children.
