(PRWEB) August 4, 2005 -- Michelle Ailene True, author of the poetry books "True Reflections" (ISBN# 1-4137-2918-5, PublishAmerica 2004) and "True Emotions" (ISBN# 1-4137-5785-5, PublishAmerica 2005) announced that she has recorded her poetry for sale in audio book format.

Michelle has cd's available as WAV files for cd-players and pc and as MP3 files for iPods and other mp3 players. She has one podcaster interested in posting her audio books for download, and hopes to line up more.

True describes herself as "a writer, poet, columnist, book reviewer, writing workshop leader, and poetry ezine publisher - but not necessarily in that order on any given day." Her first highly acclaimed book of poetry, "True Reflections," published in 2004 was followed closely by "True Emotions" in 2005. Her third book, "True Identities," will be released in 2006 followed by "True Perspectives" in 2007. She is also writing a non-fiction book (an outline to success for aspiring poets) called "The Passionate Poet: The Journey From Aspiring Writer to Published Author."

True leads Poetic License Writers Group, a successful poetry writers workshop that True founded at her local library in 2003. The group also reads their work for the public at the library twice a year. She also publishes True Poet Magazine, an online poetry magazine she founded in 2003, writes a monthly newletter column for an author's newsletter filled with poetry publishing tips and performs her work at local open mikes. She is in the process of locating a venue in her home town where she can host a new poetry-only open mike. She is available to read her work at retirement centers, nursing homes, schools, and for social and business clubs. As the Poetry Editor for The Professional Authors Newsletter, she writes a column called "The Published Poet" in which she provides publishing and other tips for aspiring poets. She was selected as The Featured Reader for June 2004 by PoeticVoices.com http://www.poeticvoices.com. She writes book reviews for poetry and other genres for www.BookIdeas.com and www.BookZonePro.com.

True mentors high school students who write poetry. She enjoys reading her poetry at open mikes throughout the Chicago metropolitan area, performs her poetry programs at libraries, and hopes to find "sponsorship" either in a local park district or library for a program she developed for children aged 11-13 called "Fun With Poetry."

More details of True's poetry activites (including excerpts and reviews of her books, as well as transcripts of radio and newspaper interviews) can be found on her website: http://www.michelleailenetrue.com or at her blog: http://michelleailenetrue/blogspot.com
