Voices For Hope Sing Favourite Tunes For Interplast
Tenor Raymond Khong - of the famous 3 Chinese Tenors - and pianist May Gavin are presenting their fourth Voices for Hope concert on August 27th 2005. Monies raised will again assist volunteer surgeons from humanitarian organisation Interplast Australia to provide free reconstructive surgery for children with birth defects in developing nations.
DONCASTER, Australia (PRWEB) August 6, 2005 -- Presenting their fourth Voices for Hope concert on August 27th 2005, tenor Raymond Khong, pianist May Gavin and special guest artist Adrian Gavin invite audiences to once again enjoy superb music with another terrific presentation on August 27th 2005.
Promising to be yet another sell-out event, this concert will be held at the Domaine Village on Victoria Street, Doncaster.
"Light hearted and enjoyable, the show will be entitled 'Some Enchanted Evening'", said Mr Khong, "and in keeping with the usual Voices for Hope tradition, it's classical music with a twist".
"We may have shamelessly plagiarised our evening's theme from Rodgers and Hammerstein, but it's very appropriate nonetheless," he said. "Not merely a simple 'stand, deliver and sing' presentation - you have to see it to believe it".
Mr Khong - a member of the famous 3 Chinese Tenors - said the programme will feature much loved tunes from timeless Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals as well as selections from 'Les Miserables', 'My Fair Lady', 'South Pacific' and even Romberg's 'Desert Song'.
"It will be a truly memorable journey through the golden years of stage and screen," he said. "And what's more - no opera!"
Included in the $40 ticket price will be a delicious two course dinner, catered by the terrific staff at the Domaine.
"All proceeds will again go to Interplast Australia, a humanitarian organisation which sends volunteer plastic surgeons and their teams to developing countries", said Ms Gavin. "These dedicated professionals perform reconstructive surgery on children with facial birth deformities".

Organization of this wonderful event will be by the Rotary Club of Templestowe.
Bookings can be made on 03 9840 0154 (ask for Valli) with 16 tickets or more available at $35 per ticket.
"We hope to see you all there', said Ms Gavin.
