Dura-Lite's Charge Air Coolers Solve the Durability Problems Facing Truck Owner/Operators Today

Dura-Lite says "Make it a Habit." Testing and replacing a leaking charge air cooler can improve engine performance and save money.

(PRWEB) August 7, 2005 -- The Patented Seal System incorporates a silicon grommet at the tube to header joint, replacing the traditional brazed/weld tube to header joint. The silicon grommets allow for free thermal expansion while maintaining a leak free seal. By allowing for thermal expansion, the stress and premature failures associated with braze/weld tube-to-header joints are eliminated.

Dura-Lite recommends that you make testing charge air coolers a habit. Dura-Lite's test kits are designed to let you know what tests should be run whenever a truck is in for servicing. Dura-Lite says that these tests should be as routine as checking oil and will help keep your fleet running at its best. Leaking charge air coolers can cost you money. A leak-free CAC can save up to $4,368 a year in fuel costs, improve engine performance and eliminate repair costs due to exhaust manifold, turbocharger and piston ring and valve failure. If your charge air cooler is leaking, Dura-Lite recommends replacement with a patented Dura-Lite CAC.
