Holland-Dozier-Holland was Motown Records premier songwriting production team responsible for the Motown Sound." They wrote and produced over twenty five top ten hits that were popular with black and white audiences and put Motowns brand of soul music into the fore front of American popular music.

A star-studded performance is scheduled for September 9-10, 2005, at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan, which promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the year.

WHAT:

Motown Music Fest, LLC, along with The City of Detroit will honor Motown songwriters/producers Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Edward Holland with a Lifetime Achievement Award for their groundbreaking achievements in influencing the direction of popular music worldwide at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan on September 9, 2005.

On-stage a star-studded lineup of entertainers will perform some of their favorite Holland, Dozier and Holland songs.

Music superstars scheduled to perform include: The Miracles, The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Contours featuring Joe Billingslea, Mary Wilson, Freda Payne, Martha Reeves, Faith Evans, Teena Marie, Chaka Khan, Johnny Gill, Ann Nesby as well as other special surprise guests.
