Interactive Vacation Rental Map Search Now Online

ovrentals uses GoogleMaps to allow users to search for Vacation Rentals in the USA using an interactive map.

(PRWEB) August 12, 2005 -- ovrentals, the vacation rental advertising website, has integrated with GoogleMaps to allow renters to find vacation rentals by interacting with a dynamic web map.

At the current time the mapping functions only map places with vacation rentals in the USA, and do not map the individual vacation rentals for privacy reasons.

"We had been thinking of adding mapping functions for some time, but we wanted a dynamic solution which allowed users to interact with the map, rather than the existing static mapping solutions," continued the ovrentals employee. "When GoogleMaps brought out their Application Programming Interface it seemed like the perfect fit for us."
