Teacher to top business executives to speak in N. Colo.

Robert Ginnett will be giving leadership tips to business professionals at Bixpo 2005

LOVELAND, Colo. (PRWEB) August 12, 2005 -- Businesspeople wanting to improve their leadership skills can get pointers from a Senior Fellow at the Center for Creative Leadership, who will be speaking in northern Colorado this September.

Kicking-off Bixpo 2005, a two-day business conference at The Ranch in Loveland, Colo., Organizational Psychologist Robert Ginnett will be the first in a series of high-profile speakers scheduled to share top business strategies with an audience of 7,000 at the Budweiser Events Center.

Ginnetts wisdom will be instilled upon Bixpo ticket-holders Sept. 14, 2005 at The Ranchs Budweiser Event Center. Anyone is welcome to attend the event presented by Buzz Events and the Northern Colorado Business Report, the likes of which is unprecedented in this area of the United States and is comparable to business summits in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles or Orlando.

This speaker is known for his unique speaking style, connecting with his audiences through humor and teaching them valuable leadership methods through direct language.

As a senior staff member at CCL, Ginnett is credited with developing the theoretical framework for CCLs Leadership and High-Performance Teams course. He is currently lead instructor for CCLs Leadership at the Peak program, which helps top senior-executives in North America and Europe evaluate and enhance their leadership roles.

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), ranked among the overall Top 10 providers of executive education worldwide by the Financial Times in May, conducts research and offers programs focused on leadership development for individuals and organizations.

By applying his research experiences with CCL, the United States Air Force Academy, NASA, Yale and Harvard universities, Ginnett has formulated a method for success that has designated him as a respectable leader in the business world.

Ginnetts educational background consists of a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Arts, a Master of Philosophy, and a doctorate in organizational psychology from Yale University. Also, he is co-author of the best selling undergraduate textbook, LEADERSHIP: Enhancing the Lessons of Experience, 4th Edition" and is currently working on a practical team leadership book Leading Great Teams: Building Them from the Ground Up, Fixing Them on the Fly."

Speakers following Ginnett on Sept. 14 will be Debbi Fields, founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies; Gary Hoover, founder of Bookstop and Hoovers.com; and Donald Trump, president and CEO of Trump Inc. Day-two speakers include Ann Rhoades, vice president of JetBlue and president of People Ink; and Seth Godin, Author of Permission Marketing," Purple Cow" and former vice president of Yahoo! Marketing; and Rudolph Giuliani, former Mayor of New York City and CEO of Giuliani Partners, New York's leading business-consulting firm. The fourth day-two speaker has not been announced yet.
