Before joining with Simply Retail in 1998, Hodroff worked as a production coordinator in New York City for acclaimed photographers such as Annie Leibovitz and Robert Mapplethorpe. After leaving the New York scene, Hodroff became a principal player in opening the Minnesota Childrens Museum and was the director of marketing for The Childrens Theatre Company. Hodroffs healthcare expertise derived from being a producer with the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis-St. Paul where she produced over 100 hours of medical shows as well as coming from a family background of physicians.
