CHARLOTTE, N.C. (PRWEB) August 13, 2005 -- The Wine-Up is delighted to introduce this author to our community. She is passionate about the education of our children." Children of Plains Estates" is a book of inclusiveness. The characters confront daily issues of race, alcoholism, Aids, the role of the church, child molestation and the educational system among others.

Charlotte is a growing city. What has been missing is a venue for adults to get together for a frank book discussion on issues that affect our community, relationships or murder and suspense. The purpose of Soultry Readings is to provide a meeting place for book lovers to meet authors and ask questions while enjoying a glass of wine and some free food. Book signings provide a one to two minute interaction with the author. This event provides an opportunity for readers to ask questions of the author after they have read the book and get to know the author on a one-on-one basis. It provides the author with the opportunity to discuss their motivation for writing, thought process and upcoming projects.
