Business Industrial Network (BIN) announces a new offering of the Â?Electrical Troubleshooting Skills SeriesÂ? training software through a partnership with Simutech Multimedia Inc.

The award-winning “Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Series” is a series of Computer Based Training (CBT) programs designed so that the learner will develop a skilled, systematic approach to troubleshooting electrical circuits. This is accomplished through the use of highly interactive and realistic simulations for the learner to practice their skills.

The “Electrical Troubleshooting Skills Series” won the 2003 “Best External E-Learning Program” presented by The Canadian Society of Training and Development (CSTD) and is now offered world wide by Business Industrial Network.

There are three separate CBTs in this training series providing instructors, supervisors, students and experienced tradespersons training from basic electrical troubleshooting to troubleshooting motor controls. The three training programs are offered as individual downloads or all three on one CD. The titles are ...

Don Fitchett (President of BIN) comments, “Troubleshooting electrical equipment can be difficult and hazardous. Ineffective troubleshooting skills can lead to extended equipment outages, increased costs of repairs and lost revenue from non operational processes – it can even lead to accidents or injuries.”

“These training programs are a highly effective way to learn systematic electrical troubleshooting and problem solving skills. The award winning electrical training programs in this series are ideal for learning electrical troubleshooting techniques in a safe environment. I feel these simulation based electrical training programs will help end-users reduce downtime of equipment and cost of repairs as well as reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.”
