29th Annual Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire, Booth Applications Are Now Available

The 29th Annual Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire is the largest holiday shopping event in the North Bay featuring over 250 booths in a wide variety of categories including Handmade Crafts, Global Marketplace, Unique Commercial Gifts, Ecology, Health & Beauty Products, Sonoma-made Products and Beer & Wine Tasting.

(PRWEB) August 15, 2005 -- Join us for the North Bay's Premier Holiday Shopping Event-The 29th Annual Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, in Santa Rosa. The Faire kicks off the holiday shopping season with the Grand Opening Weekend, November 25-27, and continues the following two weekends, Dec. 3-4 and Dec. 10-11. The Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire features fabulous holiday shopping in a festive Yuletide atmosphere, with elaborate decorations and ongoing family entertainment.

The Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire promotes a family-friendly environment with a wide variety of merchandise. One-stop-shopping in available in over 250 booths including Handmade Crafts, Global Marketplace, Unique Commercial Gifts, Ecology, Health & Beauty Products, Sonoma-made Products, Beer & Wine Tasting and much more. The Spirit of the Holidays Gift Faire offers an enjoyable shopping experience and a great alternative to mall and big box department stores.

All booth applicants are juried to assure a top quality gift show with a wide variety of products. Booths will be decorated in a festive theme and cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for Best Decorated Booth and Best Costume will be awarded each weekend. Judging will be based upon design, how they relate to the theme of the merchandise, creativity, originality, and holiday spirit.

Family entertainment will include popular musicians, local bands, choirs, wandering minstrels and dancers. The younger attendees will enjoy the Children's Entertainment, Holiday Characters and Santa's Workshop, where children can make special hand-crafted gifts.
