Actor/Playwright/Director David Miguel Estrada hails from Texas and is the youngest of a theatrical family. Last year, his play, "You Ain't No Johnny Cash" debuted successfully at the Producers Club II. Since then, Estrada has enjoyed New York productions of his plays "My Burger With Ted" and "The Yale Diaries." He has also directed his brother, Comedy Central's Jade Esteban Estrada's, "Icons: Vol. 2" and his sister, Celeste Angela Estrada's, Tex-Mex play "Tortilla Heaven." Joey Reynolds of the nationally syndicated WOR Radio says "Don't mess with that family!"

Most recently he directed the world-premiere of Jen Emma Hertel's post-apocalyptic play "Being". Michael Barnes of the Austin-American Statesman writes "David Miguel Estrada acts with a filmic sense of truth" while the Dallas Voice calls him "a theatrical prodigy". Produced by the prolific Artistic Director A.M. Raychel, the show stars Estrada as Stanley Kowalski alongside Shannon Lower as Stella Kowalski and Laura Lance as Blanche DuBois. "It's a known fact that most actors dream of playing Stanley and that's a testament to the talent and genius of Tennessee Williams. I am more than excited to take part in this festival."
