Retired Army Reserve Lt. Colonel Honored by the Florence Fuller Child Development Center

On April 11th, 2005 at the Towne Center in Boca Raton, Florida, Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein, USAR retired, was one of 19 men recognized at the Florence Fuller Child Development CenterÂ?s Annual Â?Men With Caring HeartsÂ? program. Col. Weinstein was honored for his effort in collecting over 50,000 stuffed toys for Iraqi Orphans as Chairman of the Campaign for Iraqi War Orphans as well as for his volunteer work with the Covenant House providing military-style fitness workouts for homeless and runaway youth.

Florence Fuller Child Development Center is a non profit, NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accredited, Gold Seal child care center. It offers care for children from 6 weeks to 13 years of age. Its goal is to provide the highest quality of childcare at affordable prices. It has 2 centers in Boca Raton, Florida. One located in eastern Boca Raton, the other in western Boca Raton. It also has 2 Thrift Shops whose proceeds help fund the centers.

About Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein

Retired Lt. Col. Bob Weinstein is retired from the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel with 30 years of service, having served half that time as a military instructor with the Command & General Staff College. He has been featured on radio and television, among others, on the History Channel and Fox Sports Net as well as in various publications such as the Washington Times, RAZOR magazine and the Herald. He is also on the Expert Panel of 24 experts for the New York-based company Affinity Solutions as their Health and Fitness Adviser. His background is unique and diverse with military instructor, attorney, motivational speaker, wellness coach, certified corporate trainer, and certified personal trainer all under his belt. Bob is fluent in German and English.

His own business, "The Health Colonel," specializes in a military-style workout on Fort Lauderdale Beach, incorporating strength, cardio, flexibility and agility training, in both personal training and group sessions.
