Fairy Tooth Castle has announced today that $5.00 will be donated to the Fayetteville, NC Alzheimer's Memory Walk for all orders that are made through the October 7, 2005 Memory Walk.

Fairy Tooth Castle owner, Sarah Whitmer,whose mother was afflicted with the Alzheimers disease is honoring the one-year anniversary of her mothers death on October 7th, the date of the Alzheimer's Memory Walk.It is being held in Fayetteville, NC, which is where Mrs. Whitmer's mother lived. In a statement made by Mrs. Whitmer she said "Fairy Tooth Castle has helped me through the grieving process of losing my Mom. I think my Mom would be really proud of Fairy Tooth Castle and the joy that Fairy Tooth Castle brings to a child. This is just a small way to honor my Mom's memory and to help support the Alzheimer's Association and its fight against this terrible disease."

Fairy Tooth Castle is an Oak Island Web-based business that supplies a post-visit personalized letters for children from The Tooth Fairy along with a small keepsake sand castle.

Fairy Tooth Castle owner, Sarah Whitmer, describes what her company does as "more than just a few coins under a pillow."

Fairy Tooth Castle sends a personalized letter in child-friendly print from the Tooth Fairy along with a glittering Mr. Sandman "Footprint" Castle. The letter reads in part "I was in your room picking up the tooth you had lost..." The letter then lets the child know what happens to their teeth "The teeth are what make the castles glitter and sparkle," In the letter Fairy Tooth Castle also addresses a child's self-esteem "remember you are like the glitter and will always shine."
