   Recent burglaries
   Locally registered sex offenders
   Neighborhood Crime Watch meetings

Crime Prevention Officer Stacey Holland stated, In Redmond we believe policing is a team sport. Team sport meaning everyone pitches in by watching out for one another, by staying informed and reporting suspicious activity to the police department. CrimeWeb will enhance our ability to do just that!"

CrimeWeb is an on-line service utilized by public safety agencies nationwide to distribute information about missing children, missing adults, major crimes, homeland security, and school/community information to subscribers via email. Citizens of Redmond are required to register online at www.crimeweb.net in order to receive alerts from the department.

The registration is free and they get to choose the types of alerts they want to receive. CrimeWeb recently added access to the national sex offender registry on its website, which allows all visitors to search for registered sex offenders in their neighborhoods.
