San Francisco, Calif. (PRWEB) August 19, 2005
Online ratings community and social network RateItAll, Inc. (http://www.rateitall.com) today announced that it has launched a variety of alert features that allow RateItAll members to monitor new reviews posted on the RateItAll network by topic, product, local business, or reviewer.
ÂAs the RateItAll social network grows, it's important that our members be able to track the opinions that they find most interesting and useful, said RateItAll President Lawrence Coburn. ÂThese alert features have been designed to keep RateItAll members engaged by providing them instant access to new content of interest.Â
The alerts available under this new functionality are as follows:
1) Product / Person / Local Business Alert  This alert notifies RateItAll members by email when a new review is posted on a specific product, person, or business.
2) Topic Alert  This alert notifies RateItAll members by email when a new listing is added to a specific topic (e.g. if a new pizzeria is added to the ÂSan Francisco Pizzerias section).
3) Reviewer Alert  This alert notifies RateItAll members by email when a specific RateItAll member leaves a new post.
4) WebList Alert  This alert notifies RateItAll members by email when a specific RateItAll member creates a new WebList (interactive ratings list).
The company envisions a variety of applications for these new features. Marketers can track response to their company's products. Business owners can monitor customer feedback. And members of the RateItAll community can follow the contributions of their favorite reviewers.
Alerts are available to registered users of RateItAll, and can be activated by interacting with the appropriate areas of the site. Membership to RateItAll is available at no charge at http://www.rateitall.com/signup.aspx.
