Imperia Entertainment Announces Feature Film, 'All That I Need'

Film will be theatrically released on November 4 - 10 in Regal Cinemas, and United Artists and Edwards Theatres.

Beverly Hills, Calif. (PRWEB) August 20, 2005 -- (PR WEB) -- Imperia Entertainment, Inc. (IPRE.PK) announced today that its feature film, "All That I Need," (www.AllThatINeed.net) which was a big hit at this year's Cannes film festival, will be released nationwide (Nov. 4th to 10th, 2005) on multiple screens by Regal Entertainment Group (NYSE: RGC - News) through its Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theaters chains from November 4 through 10, 2005 in Alabama, Arizona, Nevada, California, Florida, New York and Texas. "All That I Need" is an original Cinema Verite feature in the genre of "The Blair Witch Project," "Open Water," or "The Lock Ness Incident."

"All That I Need" captures the unfolding of a pyramid scheme. Viewers get to be a fly on the wall and watch as a group of investors make thousands of dollars in just a few weeks in Newport, California. At first everything is going great. Exotic cars are delivered to investors during meetings, as they live fast lifestyles. As things unfold, greed and distrust enter the picture, and the group starts to turn on each other. The camera captures all of the fighting and action between all those involved. A classic Shakespearean themed tragedy, the film is an entertaining, true life examination of greed with a very strong moral message.

"This film has a very strong moral message, and is quite entertaining as well," said Hergott, who is also the producer and director of the film. "Well most likely receive an R rating due to language and some suggestive scenes, but I believe the movie will appeal to a wide age range of adults who have a healthy sense of humor; especially those who have ever seen or been part of a pyramid scheme."

Marcelle Lean said, "It was my great pleasure to have attended the May 20th screening of this film in Cannes. I liked it very much: I found it clever, very well cast and certainly thought provoking on many levels. What I admire is the fact that at first the director establishes the experimental character of his subject (a thesis) and then he spins it in a way that he touches a reality with implicitly putting us, the viewer, in a constant state of wonder...Is it true? Is it a theory? Are the people real? How can they be 'acting' since they look so sincere, even awkward at times like in real life? The filmmaker did his job with brio!"

"All That I Need" is sponsoring a nationwide contest in a grass roots effort to pre-promote the film. Any organization that is affiliated or works on behalf of their community or contributes to charity may participate. Three prizes will be awarded based on the most ticket sales and ticket stubs collected. First, second and third place winning organizations will receive a potentially large charitable contribution to donate to the charity of their choice. For contest rules visit www.AllThatINeed.net.

The film will be released nationwide on multiple screens by Imperia International Distribution, Inc., through Regal Entertainment Group's (NYSE: RGC - News) Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theaters chains from November 4 through 10, 2005 in Alabama, Arizona, Nevada, California, Florida, New York and Texas.

About the Producer

James Hergott, at the helm of his own production company, Hergott Productions, successfully conceived, wrote, produced, directed and promoted "All That I Need," was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2005. Hergott attended York University, where he studied film and philosophy. While still a student, he founded his first business venture, the establishment of a "900 line" for jobs across Canada. In 1999, in collaboration with Producer Tarquin Gotch (Home Alone), he co-wrote the screenplay, "Brothers," and served as Associate Producer of "Call Me Donald," a biography on Donald Trump. Perhaps his greatest business accomplishment to date has been to establish a non-studio distribution system for motion pictures, which he will continue to develop at the helm of the company.
