When a horse owner moves from a two-horse trailer to a three-horse trailer, he/she has made a significant change. Pulling a three-horse trailer not only requires a longer, heavier trailer, but requires a heavier duty tow vehicle as well. The other problem is that most three-horse trailers (until now) have been slant load styles, which have small stalls, no easy access to the front horses, and the horses ride at an awkward angle when the tow vehicle is always moving forward.
The new EquiSpirit SafeLoad 3 horse trailer solves a multitude of problems in carrying three horses. At only 28 ½Â, this trailer carries two of the horses facing forward, with the third horse in a very wide (52") slant stall.
Each horse has its own exit, and can be easily unloaded separately from the others. The two horses in the rear straight stalls unload straight out the back, and the front horse can be unloaded through its own side ramp. It also converts easily into a two-horse trailer when the slant stall is removed, which gives you plenty of extra cargo space.
ÂItÂs important to you, and your horseÂs safety that you can access each horse individually, and that each horse can exit a trailer without unloading the others, says Neva Scheve, horse trailer designer and author of multiple trailer books. ÂThe new SafeLoad 3 not only has individual walk-outs, it has the roominess needed for horses to balance, stretch their necks, and stand naturally, all in a fairly short trailer.Â
In addition, the EquiSpirit SafeLoad 3 horse trailer comes standard with many safety features including a total of six turn signal break lights, interior swivel ties that lay flat when not in use, completely padded and rubber-lined stalls, an escape door and 30" entrance door for easy access to the horses, outside load lights over rear and side ramps, running boards for easy step in, three double interior lights in horse area and two in dressing area.
The EquiSpirit SafeLoad 3 trailer is now available nationwide at the introductory price of $22,995.
