The University of California Data Mining Contest provides a forum for teams to test their data mining skills on real-world data sets. This year, teams competed to build a system that correctly predicts useful information about a customer's account based on the history of transactions such as Classification (predicting whether an account is bad) and Time Series Analysis (predicting when an account turns bad). MEDais technology also won first place in the prestigious, international German Classification Society competition, also known as GFKL.
