Frock N' Roll for Charity at Cooper'sTown
A conflation of rock music and fashion to raise money for the USO's "Operation Phone Home", a service providing phone cards to our men and women in the military.
PHOENIX,AZ (PRWEB) August 21, 2005 -- Designers Rhonda Zayas, Susan Di Staulo, and model Daynalyn Wain have joined forces once again with Alice Cooper'sTown to produce FROCK N' ROLL FOR CHARITY AT COOPERS'TOWN, on September 10th, 2005.
Frock'n Roll is a benefit for the USO's "Operation Phone Home" a service created by the USO that enables our American Brothers and Sisters in the armed forces to call home, especially during holiday time. Phone cards are provided to our bravest with the funding that all of us donate to the USO. Please visit www.uso.org for more information.
FROCK N'ROLL is a conflation of music and fashion comprised of Arizona based designers and recording artists. Doors open at 7PM.As seven bands play, models will prance the catwalk all in good fun to help raise money for the USO. Selected pieces will be auctioned off and boutiques will be set up in the Cooperstown "Dungeon" selling the designers' goods with a portion of the proceeds going to the USO. All money raised at the door: $7.00 admission or $13.00 for admission with a tee shirt willbe donated to the USO. a raffle will be held to raise additional funds with products and services donated by local businesses.
Some of the fashion designers involved are: SommerChristine, Rhonda Zayas, Susan Di Staulo, Jennyvi Dizon, Christy Fisher, Husband, and Tiffe Fermaint.
The recording artists appearing are: Runaway Phoenix, Haven James, Stamina, ZOOM, S.M.D., The Black Moods and Simplify.
Rhonda Zayas has had a successful, decade long career as a top ranked, award winning Art Director in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. Along with business partner Angela Johnson, Zayas owns LABELHORDE and THE ARIZONA FASHION FOUNDATION, an organization that promotes fashion design, as well as artistic and economic growth in the Phoenix AZ, area. Rhonda's fashion design line can best be described as "Urban Couture"; a combination of street wear and graphic design.
Daynalyn Wain, a model with THE AGENCY AZ, is known for both her inner and outer beauty. Daynalyn was the force behind the first FROCK N' ROLL, a benefit at Cooper'stown for Tsunami relief. Daynalyn, AKA 'RED' supports cultural, creative, and artistic awareness in the Phoenix area through her dedication to the arts and producing events that benefit charites. Her red hair and heart of gold reflect the passion she has for helping others
Susan Di Staulo is a fashion designer currently based in Scottsale,AZ. She arrived in Arizona bt way of NYC, where she was trained in fashion design and earned her Master's in arts education. She is a supporter of fashion, visual arts, music, and, dance in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. She works closely with Angela Johnson, the founder of the Arizona Fashion Industry, and fully scaffolds Johnson's efforts.
