Featured on the second season of the hit TV show American Idol, Dario is no stranger to winning talent shows. His appearance on American Idol capped years of hard work including an appearance on Pops Stars 2, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and red carpet events for The Grammy and American Music Awards. Dario has opened for established R& B artists such as Ashanti as well as KC & JoJo.
TV Credits include: Pop Stars 2 (WB), American Idol (Fox), The Buzz (WB), Hispanic Heritage (WB), Livin Latin (3 episodes, WB), Chanel One (CH1), and Concert. Why does Dario do what he does? He writes People always ask me what is the message Im trying to get across in my music, and I guess the thing that stands out the most to me is that 'anything is possible. Every single song I write, every single song I sing has a different message. I have a song about overcoming obstacles, I have a song about people talking behind your back, I even have a song about getting crazy with someone. I try to always send a positive message in my music."
Dario also believes in giving back to the community, and has participated in charity foundations such as Breast Cancer Awareness, AIDS awareness, the Kiki Shepard Celebrity Bowling Challenge for sickle cell anemia and Creating Connections: Making dreams come true for our youth.
