Dianna Giguere, owner of South Sound Lane Virtual Assistance has just graduated from the first all-inclusive training program for Real Estate Virtual Assistants. The program was developed for experienced Virtual Assistants who wanted to specialize in working with Real Estate Professionals. Real Estate Professionals are one of the largest industries using Virtual Assistants.
During the comprehensive 12-week course students are trained in risk management in real estate assistance, online newsletters and mailings, listing coordination, transaction coordination, and website promotion. They learn to use such programs as Advanced Access, Z57, Number 1 Expert, Agent X, Imprev, Top Producer 7i, GuruNet, Settlement Room and much more.
According to the National Association of Realtors® 2001 Member Profile survey, only 14 percent of all sales associates have an assistant. But those who do are typically top producers.
Because Virtual Assistants don’t require space in your office and usually are available on a flexible schedule, VAs often offer a quicker turnaround.
Because Vas are independent contractors, clients’ do not have to pay taxes, insurance, or any fringe benefits.
They provide their own office space and own their equipment. Their clients pay only for work performed. VAs are quite different from temporary workers as VAs are entrepreneurs and have a vested interest in their clients’ success because the engagement often leads to long-term relationships and referrals.
Dianna has over 25 years of professional office and field experience, including holding positions as a Network Administrator, PC Technical Support, Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant and Executive Secretary. She also holds the IVAA CRESS (Certified Real Estate Support Specialist) Certification.
