Carole Olmedo and Linda Spurlin-Dominik, co-founders of Guardian Angels For Soldier's Pet (GASP), and Patti Patton-Bader, founder of Soldier's Angels, today announces the formation of an alliance between the two all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) nonprofit tax exempt organizations.

(PRWEB) August 29, 2005 -- Carole Olmedo and Linda Spurlin-Dominik, co-founders of Guardian Angels For Soldier's Pet (GASP), and Patti Patton-Bader, founder of Soldier's Angels, today announces the formation of an alliance between the two all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) nonprofit tax exempt organizations.

Guardian Angels For Soldier's Pet (GASP) was organized and incorporated in the state of Arkansas to locate and monitor temporary foster homes for the beloved pets of our deployed military personnel. Currently, GASP has foster homes within the Hot Springs, Garland County area at this time, but will work with military personnel in other parts of the country to bring their pets to Arkansas. Plans are being developed to expand their program into other states beginning with Foster Home coordinators who will locate and monitor any foster homes within their own areas.

Soldier's Angels was begun by a self-described "ordinary mother", who says her son, Corporal Brandon Varn, is an ordinary man-turned-hero. Soldiers' Angels based in Pasadena, California provides aide and comfort to deployed & wounded military heroes and their families via their "Adopt-A-Soldier" program and various support teams, i.e., Letter Writing Team, Saving Soles, Soldiers' Kids, Blankets of Hope, Operation Top Knot, VA/Combat Hospital support programs, and Living Legends.

Carole and Linda in addition to setting up GASP are also Soldiers' Angels and along with Patti feel the alliance between the two organizations will help to provide additional support to our deployed military personnel and those to be deployed who have been unable to locate someone to care for their beloved pet.

To "Adopt-A-Soldier" or join one of the various support teams contact Soldiers' Angels at www.soldiersangels.org. Questions can be sent to soldiersangels@gmail.com

To learn more about being a foster home caregiver or coordinator for a soldier's pet or know of a military person being deployed who has not found a temporary foster home for his/her beloved pet contact Guardian Angels For Soldier's Pet at www.guardianangelsforsoldierspet.org. Questions can be sent to info@guardianangelsforsoldierspet.org.
