Singles Travel International Hikes, Bikes and Rafts the New Mexico Wilderness September 25-30, 2005

Singles explore New Mexico canyons and mesas during a multi-sport adventure for adults who love to explore nature during the day, with the indulgences of country accommodations and local cuisine at night.

LOCKPORT, IL (PRWEB) August 25, 2005 --- Singles Travel International once again offers an adventure for adults who love to explore nature during the day, with the indulgences of country accommodations and local cuisine at night. New Mexico beguiles the senses with its natural beauty. From the canyons and mesas of the Bandelier National Monument, to the highroads of Taos, to the whitewater of the Rio Grande River, the scenery enlivens the minds eye. Colors change dramatically in this Land of Enchantment."

Travel and Leisure Magazine noted in April 2004, Singles Travel International is The choice for singles traveling worldwide." When you travel with Singles Travel International, youre traveling with the best. Our high quality tours have always attracted fun-loving individuals who love to travel. Rates for this multi-sport adventure in New Mexico start at $1,995* plus airfare, singles only $500 more for your own room.

Starting in Santa Fe, the oldest capital city in the United States, this multi-sport adventure hikes through mesas, canyons, and alpine meadows. An exploration of the Frijoles Canyon yields evidence of houses and a community village established by the extinct Anasazi Indians over eight centuries ago. Evenings are spent at cozy, adobe inns, with authentic native cuisine served at every meal. Mountain bikes appear when the tour arrives in the Taos area to take on the Rio Chiquito Trail. Once at the Rio Grande River, it is on to the Pilar racecourse, with its Class III rapids. Along the way, Singles Travel International guests enjoy leisure time exploring cultural venues, local color and crafts in Taos, Santa Fe and a number of tiny villages. The naturalist for this trip, Cisco Guevara, is not only fluent in flora and fauna; he knows ghost stories dating back to the first Spanish settlers, and western folklore featuring the likes of Kit Carson. Options available during this trip include horseback riding in the Picuris Mountains and more challenging hiking trails.

*Rates are per person based on double occupancy.
