(PRWEB) August 25, 2005 -- People's Choice Award Names Brick Street Inn of Zionsville Best Hotel / Motel. The Inn went through extensive renovation more than a year ago, creating an anchor for the shopping and gourmet dining Mecca of central Indiana. Located only 20 minutes from Indianapolis, more and more locals and visitors are taking advantage of the quaint town that features this premier Inn and Meeting Facility.

"We are delighted to be recognized as a favorite," said Brick Street Inn General Manager, Roxanne Blackwell. The People's Choice Award is presented annually by Boone County. "Of course we always hope we are pleasing our guests, but it nice be formally acknowledged."

The People's Choice Award rides on the coattails of being named the 'Official Concierge Center' for the annual Miss Indiana Pageant, held at the Inn for the first time this summer. The Inn is also recognized as a premiere destination in the 'Leisure Travel Guide for Resorts & Lodges.'

The Inn features state-of-the-art meeting facilities, which corporations and organizations are finding an ideal solution to meetings that require professional amenities, yet benefit from the environment afforded by a small town atmosphere. The Inn also hosts wedding events and other social gatherings.

Luxury guest rooms, elegantly furnished with decor reflective of the early 19th century when the original structure was built, are another popular draw to the Inn. "We like to make people feel spoiled when they are way from home." Said General Manager Blackwell,"We hope our décor, service and atmosphere does that!" Also on the property are the Brick Street Inn Café and Dahlias' Linens and Luxuries Boutique. The Café features breakfast and gourmet luncheon fare, along with desserts, specialties coffees and catered onsite events.
