Sync Files with Ease

Share Article

Easy-to-learn and use Sync utility synchronizes, replicates, backs-up and compares files.

Liuxz Software announces today the release of version 3.0.6 of "Sync Now!". This is a professional synchronization and backup utility that makes maintaining several copies of files and folders easy. You can sync folders stored locally or on several machines. Synchronization is carried out through a network, a USB drive, or a ZIP device. New in this software is a real-time sync feature to maintain files totally updated. Added to this is the sync task scheduler, file verification and a fully automated unattended sync mode. What’s more, the program can be run as a service in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003.

"This program releases you from the difficulties which come which are associated with maintaining file copies in several locations," says Lewis Tian, public relations manager at Liuxz Software. "For example, if you are often on the road, you have to copy documents from the desktop PC to your laptop and then their updated copies back to the PC. And if you overwrite the updated file with the old one, it will be a disaster. Our software eliminates such situations. It has the analysis algorithm to compare two files side-by-side, namely their creation time, size, and content. Once, the updated file is detected, it is synchronized correctly with its copy. Another use for this software is data backup. You can get important files copied to the specified folders, for example on a different machine and store them their as backup copies."

"Sync Now!" has a task definition wizard that will guide you through all seven steps of creating a new task, from selecting the folders and sync methods to specifying the files to exclude during the sync session. The program offers you five sync methods. These include making the mirror folder exactly the same as the main folder, updating all changes in the main folder to the mirror folder, and bi-directional synchronization. All available sync tasks are listed in the main window where you can see their current status, edit their properties, move them up or down the list based on their priority, and selectively run each task, or all tasks at once with only one click. You can also use the scheduler to automate the execution of tasks and schedule them to run on specified periods or system events, such as Windows startup or shutdown. On top of all this is the real-time sync feature that allows you to sync files as soon as they are updated.

"Sync Now!" Key Features:

•    Real-time synchronization;

•    Flexible scheduler to automate sync tasks;

•    File verification;

•    Fully automated, unattended mode;

•    Run as service in Windows NT/2000/XP/2003.
