Support Our Troops Event Will Take Place September 1, 2005

The Lake County Republican Party is sponsoring a rally to raise money for the USO. This fun-filled event will be Thursday, September 1 from 7 -- 9 pm at Meximillian's Steakhouse at 9080 Mentor Avenue.

Mentor, OH (PRWEB) August 27, 2005 -- The Lake County Republican Party is sponsoring a rally to raise money for the USO. This fun-filled event will be Thursday, September 1 from 7 -- 9 pm at Meximillian's Steakhouse at 9080 Mentor Avenue.

Come out for an evening of music and comraderie to show that Lake County supports our troops and appreciates their sacrifice and that of their families . Representatives from the USO and all branches of the military will be in attendance. Join them for a slide presentation by SSG Al Sray, 135th MP Co. of the Ohio Army National Guard. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and lots of door prizes. Guests will have an opportunity to sign a banner that will be sent to Iraq to show support to our troops.

The rally is free and attendees can order food and beverages from the restaurant/bar at their own expense. ALL proceeds from the silent auction and raffle go to the USO.
