     (PRWEB) August 27, 2005 -- The Show & Sale is but one part of the British White Cattle Association Annual Membership Meeting. Members from throughout the USA are bringing some of their best cattle to be exhibited & offered for sale by private treaty. All sales will be negotiated between buyer and seller. All cattle are registered with the British White Cattle Association. This will be a real show case event of one of the best breeds of beef cattle.

     Catered Bar B Q Beef Brisket lunch will be available; advance notice to help with a count will be appreciated but not required. Bring your trailer, come early, watch the show, buy cattle, eat lunch and stay for the afternoon program.

     Early afternoon we will have an embryo transfer program presentation by Mike Myers, M.S. owner/operator of Myers Reproductive Services, Poolville, Texas.

     Following Mike's presentation Gearld Fry owner/operator of Bovine Engineering and Consulting, Rose Bud, Arkansas will demonstrate cattle selection and visual appraisal for gourmet beef validated and confirmed by linear measurement and ultrasound. Gerald's visual appraisals are made of bone, bone shape, softness and texture of the hide & hair and shape & size of the ears. That should be interesting! It alone should be worth the trip.

     This is shaping up to be one of the largest gatherings of British White breeders and British White cattle ever. We hope you will be a part of it.

     For those of you wanting to stay overnight the headquarters hotel is The Executive Inn in Sherman, Texas. We have a large block of rooms (Doubles) reserved but they will fill up quick. Most of the cattle will be in place and ready for public viewing from late Friday pm, October 7, 2005 until their departure on Sunday, October 9, 2005.
