Handywomen A-Z, Launches Marketing Leads Service, Aims to Match Women Independent Contractors to Project Owners With Remodeling, Home Care and Professional Service Needs
HandyWomen A-Z is a very powerful tool developed to assist women independent contractors in all kinds of service fields (construction, remodeling, landscaping, home care, office work, professional consulting) to cut their prospecting time in half. That translates to more of everything for the women independent contractors who use our service - more billable hours available to them, more pre-qualified leads resulting in a higher income yield per bid, and the best part, more time to spend with family and leisure pursuits.
(PRWEB) August 27, 2005 -- HandyWomen A-Z (HWAZ) is a matchmaking service in its early inception. Although the founders-Adrienne Fritze, Linda M. Seeley, Karin I. Moor and Jackie D. Blank-come to the endeavor from widely diverse backgrounds, they met up with each other while pursuing work in the remodeling, home and yard care industries.
Says co-founder and creative marketing consultant, Adrienne Fritze, When Linda and I first came up with the idea for HandyWomen A-Z, it was one of those Geez, why isnt anyone else doing that?!?" moments. Linda and I were doing a remodel, and what we noticed is that we were putting in these long hours on tough remodel jobs, sometimes 50 hours or more a week, for a not quite livable wage, AND then trying to prospect for new work in our exhaustion! In the midst of doing a job, marketing goes out the window-so there was that panicked scramble that happens at the end of a job-and boy it was tough."
Linda and Adrienne fleshed out the original idea in a day, and then began looking for others to help them put the simple plan into action. After a few weeks the team was complete and they began researching similar marketing leads services and the folks who used them. They later began testing out their marketing ideas-using the leads generation program theyd developed to find new work.

The project owner base HWAZ attracts for their independent contractors are better prepared to deal with the complexities and scope of their projects because HWAZ guides them through the often tedious task of defining the requirements and parameters of projects.
Our job is to facilitate the details for both the independent contractors and the customers, and to give each group more peace of mind as they move forward with their jobs," says Fritze.
Customers (HWAZ calls them Project Owners") who are looking to hire women contractors and professional service providers have responded well to the concept. What had begun with a handful of remodel, yard maintenance/design and home care jobs has now grown into more work than the partners can handle.
Now they are recruiting other women who offer the services the Project Owners are seeking: housekeeping, remodel work, construction, office and professional services and more.
To that end, HandyWomen A-Z, LLC operates under several monikers, each designed to address specific industries. They are:
| | - HandyWomen A-Z; serving women independent contractors in the building, construction, home & yard care, remodeling, landscaping industries
- OfficeDivas A-Z; serving self-employed women in general business services such as bookkeeping, secretarial, reception, billing, general accounting, promotions, business publishing, small business graphic design, newsletter publishing, office and personal assistants, etc.
- BusinessMavens A-Z; for professional services contractors in advertising, high-end marketing, business development consultants, project management, law, tax accounting, architecture, and more.

Once an independent contractor registers with the service, their professional history is put to the test-HWAZ does a thorough background check on the contractor, including a criminal background check and thorough reference follow-ups. And when a contractor completes a job for a Project Owner, HWAZ follows-up to get feedback and testimonials for them.
We dont mince words here," claims Fritze. We deliver the exact feedback we get from the Project Owner to the Independent Contractor. And then, if theres an area that the contractor needs to do a little extra training in, like customer relationships or communication, we have resources for them to do that. Were all about everyone winning, and weve begun to set-up the network to deliver on that intention."
