Liberty Financial Group Lifts Spirits in Central America

Seattle based Liberty Financial Group hosts September 19th Glendale Golf Tournament to fund rural village improvements in Guatemala.

Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) August 28, 2005 -- In an effort to improve the lives of those caught in a multi generational cycle of poverty, Bellevue based Liberty Financial Group has partnered with non-profit Agros International.

The vision of Seattle based Agros is to see rural Central American families own agricultural land, attain self-sufficiency, realize their God-given potential, and pass on to future generations the values and resources that enable them to flourish. Since its founding in 1982, Agros has restored hope and dignity to over 5000 Central Americans.

"Funds from this tournament in our partnership with Liberty Financial Group and the Guatemalan village of Batzchocola will support the development of a sustainable community, which is achieved by a long-term and integrated approach addressing economic, environmental, spiritual and social issues," says David Carlson, Director of Development for Agros.

Liberty Financial Group seeks to raise $40,000 through this 1st annual Glendale Golf Tournament, dinner and auction. All proceeds of the tournament and auction go directly to Agros.

Liberty Financial Group CEO Barry Horn looks forward to a spirited day on Bellevues private Glendale Golf course as well as a lively auction to follow.

"This is an opportunity to involve both our office associates and those key people in the community who help make our business successful," Horn said.

The silent and live auction will include several golf and vacation getaways as well as many sports and wine related packages.

"I appreciate the generosity shown by donors to our first annual auction and thank you to those golfers that have registered to help our friends in Guatemala," says CEO Horn.

Limited tickets are now available for the 6PM dinner and auction. Contact: Tina (Keller) Florcke at Liberty Financial Group 425-818-1810.
