Thousands of fans were treated to a 2-day spectacular Rollerwars World Championship at the NIA in Birmingham.

History was made on the 27th and 28th of August when the Rollerwars World Championship played to more than 9000 fans packed into the National Indoor Arena for the first Rollerwars World Championship. As fans chanted for their favorite teams headed up by the likes of escaped lunatic DR Ha Ha, a strangely blue skinned man who enters the arena down a ramp screaming, the moody, silent and spooky GHOST, who only talks telepathically through his number two Phantom, the very cool and golden skinned Knightmare and the glam rock loving Danny Diamond, and don’t forget to add the glamour of the four gorgeous female teams. no one could have predicted the excitement and energy of the game which had fans standing in their seats screaming and shouting.

The Rollerwars Championship is the first of what is going to be a successful campaign by the Rollerwars team and creator Tony Clarke and is destined to become prime time television. Who won the Rollerwars World Championship 2005?, The team was electric, exciting and had the whole arena chanting and screaming there names, they thoroughly deserved the Golden Championship Trophy ball together with the $50,000 prize money.

As thousands of children and parents mobbed the likes of Ghost & Phantom, Danny Diamond, Knightmare and Dr Ha Ha, you can be sure that Rollerwars is here to stay and is set to become the new sport entertainment show Phenomenon of the decade with several television companies likely to be seeking the rights to televise Rollerwars in the UK and across the world.

This event is likely to hit our screens anytime before Christmas, once the bidding war has been completed for this truly "children crazy" spectacular, that had hundreds if not thousands of parents standing in line so as to get their children photographed with the shows stars
