First Ever Cyber-Concert Announced Cyber Series to be Launched

Cyber-Concert to unite the past with the present.

(PRWEB) August 31, 2005 -- History Publishing Company, a firm dedicated to the study of history through modern technology, announced today that it will launch the first of a series of Cyber-Concerts in September. Reportedly the first event of its kind, the cyber-concert series will be produced solely for presentation on the internet to listeners around the globe. History Publishing Company, a firm dedicated to the study of history through modern technology, will use the occasion to bring the past and the present together as a series of gifts to the curious minds of the world.

We have given a great deal of thought to this," said Don Bracken, History Publishings Senior Editor, and we decided to take something from the central period of American history and through modern technology make it available to listeners around the world We decided on mid-nineteenth century America and searched for a singer who best represented this era.. We are fortunate to have found the recording artist Jerry Ernst who graciously accepted our invitation to do the first ever cyber-concert. It promises to be a fascinating event."

Jerry Ernst has recorded several CDs including the hits 'Angel Band and 'In Love & War. He is known for his ability to perform period pieces in the style of the selected era.

History Publishing Company, known for its study of history through modern technology has recently focused on the American Civil War bringing to the public and the classroom such things as a computer plotting of the 384 major battles of that War, simulated recordings of the famous rebel yell of the Confederate army based on the only known recording of a single Confederate veteran and audio transcriptions of newspaper dispatches from Civil War battlefields such as Gettysburg. The Cyber-Concert series will be focused on Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century American culture. The date of the first Cyber-Concert will be announced shortly.
