Life Insurance Awareness Month was created to help Americans understand what life insurance is and what it can do for them. SBLI USA hopes that greater awareness will help lead to improved financial security for millions of families.

The following events are planned to help serve the local community by educating people about the benefits of life insurance and the importance of seeking advice from qualified insurance and health professionals:
-- On Saturday, September 3rd, from 11:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m., SBLI USAs Buffalo Customer Center in the Walden Galleria Mall will kick off the month with a Childrens Health Fair. Free to the public, the fair will feature licensed nurses administering free blood pressure, height and weight checks, and general health information and tips will be offered. There will also be childrens entertainment and a raffle to win a childrens back-to-school gift basket.
-- On Friday, September 16th, the Buffalo Customer Center will hold another Health Fair, this time targeted to Senior Citizens who take daily walks in the mall, from 7:30 a.m. -- 10:30 a.m. A licensed nurse will be on hand to check blood pressure, height and weight, and provide information targeted to the aging population. There will be a raffle to win a mall gift certificate as well.
-- From Saturday, September 10th to Friday, September 16th, SBLI USA also plans to host a Walden Galleria Mall Employees Insurance Week. The Customer Center will invite employees of all mall stores to stop in for a free insurance review and enter a raffle to win a mall gift certificate.
An integral part of SBLI USAs focus is its new state-of-the-art Customer Centers, designed to make it easy for the public to drop by and learn more about products and services in a relaxed environment.
