Linda Doty author of children's book, "In Search of the Robin", is releasing a second book, "The Christmas Doll."

Children's book author and illustrator Linda Doty has penned and illustrated a second children's book titled, "The Christmas Doll," to be released in 2005. After the success of her first book, "In Search of the Robin," a true tale Linda had with her two sons years ago after a long cold winter. They went out in search of the ambassador of spring the robin. Now Linda has written her first children's chapter book, "The Christmas Doll," the story of Amy Manchester a young girl growing up in turn of the century victorian England with her widowed father and older brother Jack. Amy's life is changed when she wishes for a beautiful doll that she sees in the village top shop window.
