– Quickparts, the leading provider of rapid prototypes and low-volume custom manufactured metal and plastic production parts, announced the completion of registration under the US Department of State’s International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Administered by the Office of the Defense Trade Controls Compliance (DDTC), under authority established by the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), ITAR regulates the manufacture, export, import and transfer of defense articles and services.

“It was important for Quickparts to receive our ITAR registration in order to meet our defense customers’ requirements. We are committed to the success of our government/military customers and have adjusted our business methods to meet federal security requirements per ITAR and AECA,” said Mark Mackie, Executive Vice President of Quickparts.
