About Dr. Minh N. Ho:
Dr. Ho grew up during the course of the bloody Vietnam War, with many tragic experiences that shaped up his dream and future in medicine. In 1968 when the North Vietnamese infiltrated the city of Hue, as a little child, he managed to survive alone in the war zone for more than one month away from his family. During that time he witnessed so many deaths, dying and sufferings that his people had to endure. After the South Vietnam collapsed at the end of the Vietnam War, in 1979, along with other refugees seeking freedom, in a small fishing boat, Minh escaped to Pulau Tengah, Malaysia.
In 1982 he was accepted early to medical school after only two years of undergraduate education at the University of Miami in Florida. Having received his MD degree in 1986 at the same institution, he then completed the internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the famous, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. In 1994 he finished the fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at the University of California, San Diego. He also served as a Guest Scientist in Reproductive Medicine at the internationally recognized National Institutes of Health, Maryland.
