Musical Genius Jake Coco Set To Perform At The Beauty Of California Awards Ceremony In Celebration Of THe Miss California Pageant

Jake Coco, the hot young musical genius that first took Hollywood by storm earlier this year at the “Children Uniting Nations Oscar Viewing Party”, where he brought the house down in front of a star studded audience that included guests such as Babyface Edmonds, Paula Abdul, Missy Elliott, Wyclef Jean, Wesley Snipes, Chris Tucker, Chaka Khan, Dean Cain, Pairs Hilton, and Ruben Studdard, is set to perform tracks from his highly anticipated debut album “Broken Hearts & Fairy Tales” at the Beauty of California Awards Ceremony in celebration of the Miss California pageant September 10, 2005.

The Beauty of California embodies the unique landscape, distinct business, progressive ideas, and the beautiful spirit of the people of California! The Miss California pageant is part of Donald Trump's Miss Universe Origination.

With influences like Elvis Costello, Elton John, Billy Joel, James Taylor and Butch Walker, it's no wonder why the gifted musician, singer, and songwriter is taking the music industry by storm. With his soulful eyes, refreshing boy next-door looks, and passionate voice that sounds well beyond his twenty one years, it's no wonder the Miss California Organization contacted him to perform.

“It’s pretty much every guy's dream to perform a talent that he is good at, for a large group of beautiful woman,” says Jake Coco about the Beauty of California event. “It is a great privilege to be asked, I only hope the Californian delegates like my music”

This Cleveland born singer/songwriter not only wrote and produced every song on “Broken Hearts & Fairy Tales,” Jake also played all instruments on the album and can play twenty-seven instruments by ear. “Broken Hearts & Fairy Tales”, is a raw and unfiltered view of the lessons Jake has learned in life, thus far. With the complexity of many different relationships that have come and gone over time, including girlfriends, best friends and his nonexistent biological father, Jake’s music is not only touching and heartfelt, it’s descriptive and true to the human emotion.

Jake Coco recently completed filming the music video for the first single “Graceland” off the “Broken Hearts and Fairy Tales” album. “Shooting the Graceland music video was the coolest experience,” says Jake Coco. “The energy level was so high, we filmed almost non-stop for three days, had over one hundred and twenty extras in a club with no A/C, lost and found a twenty thousand dollar necklace that was on loan, and lost power in the middle of filming. I loved every minute of it. I even got some of the press that was there to cover the shoot into the video,” .The Graceland music video will feature cameos by Jake’s celebrity friends Trevor Pennick from the boy band “O-Town”, Tim Kennedy for the music group “All 4 One”, actor Sam Sarpong form the MTV show “Yo Mamma”, actress Nzinga Blake form the upcoming Showtime series “Barbershop”, actress Lauren C. Mayhew from the upcoming film “American Pie 4”, and Tara Gerard winner of the fox reality show “Paradise Hotel” (you can view the entire Graceland music video at http://www.jakecoco.com)

The Beauty of California Awards Ceremony is just one of the many upcoming events that will allow Jake Coco to showcase his talent and build his fan base. Mr. Coco will be featured on the soundtrack of Alliance Group Entertainment’s motion picture “Confessions of a Pit Fighter”, in which he also makes a cameo in as the guitar player of the Latin Pop Star Giselle D’Cole. Jake will also perform at the El Ray Theater in Hollywood CA., September 7, 2005.
