Are you one of The New Faces of Timex? The Timex® Corporation is conducting a nationwide search for eight new faces to introduce several styles in its Fashion, Sport, and Outdoor lines with new Color Indiglo® night light.
Timex, which more than a decade ago revolutionized timekeeping with the launch of Indiglo night-light technology, is celebrating the launch of its seven new Indiglo color creations by reaching out to the American public. Timex is now looking for eight new faces to represent its new ultimate functional fashion statement watches.
“We are very excited about the New Faces of Timex campaign,” said Joe Santana, President and Chief Executive Officer of Timex. “The contest for the new Color Indiglo Watch line is a perfect way to demonstrate how Timex is a brand that fits all ages and personal styles.”
Beginning on Monday, September 12, 2005, Timex, the largest selling watch brand in the U.S., will ask Americans to submit a headshot photo to http://www.NewFacesOfTimex.com for a chance to win $10,000 and a spot in the 2006 New Faces of Timex print advertising campaign.
In coordination with promotions agent, Catapult Marketing, Timex will accept all online entries* from any legal U.S. resident ages 18 and up, until midnight on November 26, 2005, when 50 finalists will be randomly selected. From December 1, 2005 through midnight on December 16, 2005, photos of the 50 finalists will be posted for online voting by the general public. The top eight faces in the vote will become The New Faces of Timex. Plus, everyone who enters will have his or her photo featured in a composite mosaic in the image of the winners’ faces.
Retailers and corporations, including Dell Inc. and Canon have joined the Timex New Faces sweepstakes to contribute instant-win prizes, cell phone entry gifts, and on-site registration incentives. More than 250 instant-win prizes range from a Dell ™ 42” Plasma HDTV, Dell XPS computers, and a Canon® digital camera, to photo printers, Dell ™ Pocket DJ™ MP3 players, and Timex watches, among other items.
