Paragon Group LLC arranges 10,000 SF Lease for Foodhander Inc.
Tenant representation specialist Paragon Group LLC arranged a 10,000-square-foot office lease on behalf of FoodHandler Inc. in Melville, NY. The distributor of food-safety products will relocate its executive offices from Westbury, NY later this year.
SYOSSET, NY (PRWEB) September 6, 2005 -- FoodHandler, Inc., a distributor of food-safety products, leased 10,000 square feet of office space in Melville for new executive offices in a deal arranged by the tenant representation specialty firm Paragon Group LLC.
The company, which markets disposable gloves and other products, presently is located at 515 Grand Blvd., Westbury, where it also has its warehouse. Foodhandler will become the first tenant at 40 Marcus Dr., a new 50,000-square-foot building in Melville. The warehouse operation is being consolidated with those of Microflex Corp., of Reno, NV, a subsidiary of BarrierSafe Solutions International, which also owns Foodhandler.
The company is expected to take occupancy of the Melville space, where the asking rent is $22 per square foot plus cleaning and utilities, by November. The property is located at the corner of Marcus Drive and Republic Road, just one block east of Route 110
FoodHandler liked the building, because everything is brand new and because the landlord is providing a quality installation," said Paragon partner Jerry A. Guerra, who represented Foodhandler in its extensive search for new offices and in lease negotiations. The landlord, 50 Republic Road, LLC, whose principal is Itzhak Levi, was represented by Robert Godfrey and David Godfrey, both of CB Richard Ellis.
