New Website Offers a Forum for Hurricane Katrina Victims and Volunteers

Columbus, Ohio website www.voiceofneworleans.com offers free website forum for Hurricane Katrina Victims and Volunteers. Voice of New Orleans is a place were you can voice your concerns on what is happening in New Orleans.

(PRWEB) September 4, 2005 -- So many of us have felt helpless as tens of thousands of people in New Orleans battle to stay alive, safe and free from disease in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

We have heard newscasts, press releases and radio shows not only reporting the news, but giving commentaries presenting horrible stories of families and the turmoil they are living in right now.

A Columbus, Ohio information services manager, and former US Army member developed a website forum to answer questions, to give people a voice and reunite family members affected by the tragedy in New Orleans.

The website, www.voiceofneworleans.com is designed so that anyone can register and add their thoughts from how to assist the victims to opinions of government involvement. It holds a place for the survivors to let their family members know they are safe in hopes of reconnecting family members as well as a place for family members outside New Orleans to post pictures and names of the missing.

John stated, I felt that the best way that I could help was to create a forum on the web inviting folks to post their opinions and ideas about the recent Hurricane." www.voiceofneworleans is currently posted to the web and offers a common place for all to help give the victims of Hurricane Katrina a voice.
