1-800-Luggage.com Donating 10% of Sales to The American Red Cross for Katrina Hurricane Relief

Hurricane Katrina has already negatively impacted many parts of the Travel Industry. To stimulate business as well as help victims, 1-800-Luggage has begun a fund-raising promotion.

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) September 4, 2005 -- 1-800-Luggage.com, one of the Internet's leading ecommerce sites, is donating 10 percent of their total sales today through Monday, Sept. 5 to The American Red Cross for Katrina relief efforts.

They also challenge all other e-commerce sites to start similar efforts to raise money for humanitarian relief.

We are greatly saddened by the tragedy that has befallen the people of the coastal states, and we feel this is the least we can do to help the victims of this tragedy" said Kevin Bronfin, President of 1-800-Luggage.com

10 percent of the entire price paid by customers from Sept. 2-5 will be sent to the Red Cross on Tuesday Sept. 6.
