Titusville, Florida (PRWEB) September 4, 2005 -- The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, United Technologies, and Rockwell Collins will jointly host a Supplier Excellence Alliance (SEA) Executive Briefing for aerospace, defense and space supplier companies on Tuesday, September 13, 2005.
The Executive Briefing will take place at The Boeing Company, 100 Boeing Way, Titusville, FL 32780. Two sessions are offered: one from 9:00 am -- 11:30 am and another from 1:00 pm -- 3:30 pm.
This Executive Briefing marks the launch of SEA's rollout in Florida.
The Executive Briefing provides suppliers with the opportunity to learn about SEA -- the Joint Program Office for the aerospace, defense and space supply chain conversion effort.
During the Executive Briefing, each attending supplier will be able to evaluate its current performance against the emerging requirements of the Large Scale Integrator Strategy, now being deployed by the prime manufacturers and OEMs for many of their new programs. Attending suppliers will also participate in a Process Maturity Assessment and develop a clear understanding of the correlation of Process Maturity and the cost of doing business.
SEA began its national rollout with supplier firms in California and followed with a launch in Connecticut. Now supplier companies in Florida can learn about the SEA Conversion Plan and consider adopting this industry standard business system. The Conversion Plan supports suppliers in improving on-time delivery and quality performance, while reducing costs. Supplier companies already implementing the Conversion Plan are reporting dramatic improvements.
