500,000 people displaced -- 10,000 plus are missing -- thousands feared dead. The aftermath of Katrina has brought a new problem in the information age: With catastrophic damage in two states and New Orleans under water -- Families and friends of Katrina victims have no way finding them.

Beyond searching for victims Katrinalost.org provides an extensive housing database for victims to find nearby housing. In addition, shortly after Labor Day KatrinaLost.org will unveil a new set of comprehensive tools to further help in the aftermath of Katrina.
