Favors for Friends announces a new Rebuilding Hope silicone wrist band/bracelet to raise funds for victims of the Hurricane Katrina Catastorphe.

In the days following the devastation that occurred in New Orleans and the surrounding communities, each and every member of our Nation certainly felt some degree of compassion and heart ache for the tens of thousands of people that would be impacted by this loss. Rather then sitting on our laurels, Favors for Friends has been formed to help raise funds for the rebuilding of these communities.

While everyone will play a different part in generating the generosity that will be needed for these communities, Favors for Friends will be selling "Rebuilding Hope" silicone wrist bracelets. These bands, first made popular through the Lance Armstrong, yellow Livestrong campaign, are available in any quantity an individual or organization is interested in purchasing.

Partners in Favors for Friends, Dawn Foss and Amy Petri stated "While we aren't a 501(c) 3 charity at this time, this is certainly a very good way to get some funds raised for some very deserving people. We'll be giving a very considerable donation to a company that can best allocated the funds to the areas where they are needed. In the future we hope to sell customized bands for a variety of groups that need to raise awareness and funds for their own cause. For now, Hurricane Katrina is the fore front of all efforts."

Bands will be available for shipment in a couple of weeks. Preorders can take place now on our web site at
