This year's prestigious 118 Awards were held at The Lowry Hotel, Manchester City Centre. Hosted by the very funny Gina Yashere the best directory enquiries services in the world have been rightly rewarded. This year's Award entrants were treated to a champagne reception and mouth watering five course meal at Manchester's first five star hotel.

All of these finalists deliver top quality services; however, the winner of this year's Award has an excellent track record and demonstrated evidence of their dedication to mobile users.

The winning entry was a detailed submission which covered all aspects of the service, culture, training, performance management, technological advancements and much, much more.

They have directly addressed the needs of mobile callers, with access to their DQ from abroad, 'My Nearest', WAP push of maps and availability of mobile numbers demonstrating the most comprehensive range of services focused on the needs of mobile customers.
